UHF Plug-Male or PL-259 Crimp Connector for Cable Types: RG8, AIR802 CA400, Times Microwave LMR400, Belden 9913 & 7810
AIR802® model CN4UHFP is a UHF type plug-male crimp style connector for AIR802 CA400, Times Microwave LMR400, RG8, Belden 9913 and 7810 size cable.
AIR802® manufactures high precision and performance connectors. This includes this UHF or PL259 plug (male) connector which is designed to work with RG8, Times Microwave LMR400®, AIR802 CA400®, Belden® 9913 and similar coaxial cable types. Connector selection is extremely important to insure proper operation and reliability. Poorly constructed connectors will cause higher VSWR and insertion loss resulting in electrical noise and intermittent issues. AIR802® manufactures very large quantities of connectors for our global customers allowing us to provide an attractive quality to price ratio.
In choosing connectors, it is important to match one to the type of cable being used, the impedance (50 versus 75 ohms), the frequency support, insertion loss, voltage rating and environmental specifications. If you are an amateur considering buying connectors to install, we recommend that you purchase our pre-manufactured antenna cable assemblies which have been professionally assembled and tested. Installation of connectors without experience and proper equipment will lead to improperly terminated connectors.
