AIR802® model CN2SMAJB is a SMA type jack-female bulkhead crimp connector for AIR802 CA195, Times Microwave LMR195, RG58, Belden 8240 and 8219 size cable.

AIR802® model CN2SMAJB is a SMA jack (female) bulkhead connector sized for RG58, AIR802 CA195, Times Microwave's LMR195® and Belden® 8240/8219 coaxial cable. AIR802 manufactures high precision and performance connectors. Connector selection is extremely important to insure proper operation and reliability. Poorly constructed connectors will cause higher VSWR and insertion loss resulting in electrical noise and intermittent issues. This connector is a SMA jack (female) bulkhead for RG58, AIR802® CA195, Times Microwave's LMR195® and Belden®8240/8219 size coaxial cable. Bulkhead style connectors have extended length threading allowing them to be utilized through enclosures. Connectors can be a bit confusing regarding the gender. There are also Reverse Polarity (RP) SMA connectors. SMA jack or female connectors have a receptacle for center conductor. The RP-SMA jack or female connector has a protruding pin in the center. This causes confusion for many not familiar with various connector types. Male and female are regularly mixed up since they are not always intuitive. We generally prefer the terms plug and jack to male versus female for clarity.
