N Jack (Female) Crimp Connector for Cable Types: AIR802 CA195R, RG58/141/142, Times Microwave's LMR195, Belden 8240/8219
AIR802® model CN2NF is a N type jack-female crimp style connector for AIR802 CA195, Times Microwave LMR195, RG58, Belden 8240 and 8219 size cable.
AIR802® manufactures precision made and high performance connectors including this N jack (female) crimp style connector for the cable types: RG58, AIR802® CA195R, Times Microwaves's LMR195 and other similar size cables. Connector selection is extremely important to insure proper operation and reliability. Poorly constructed connectors will cause higher VSWR and insertion loss resulting in electrical noise and intermittent issues. AIR802® manufactures very large quantities of connectors for our global customers allowing us to provide an attractive quality to price ratio.
In choosing connectors, it is important to match one to the type of cable being used, the impedance (50 versus 75 ohms), the frequency support, insertion loss, voltage rating and environmental specifications. If you are an amateur considering buying connectors to install, we recommend that you consider purchasing our pre-manufactured antenna cable assemblies which have been professionally assembled and tested. Installation of connectors without experience and proper equipment will lead to improperly terminated connectors.
This connector is N jack (female) crimp style. N type connectors were developed in the 1940's by Paul Neill of Bell Labs and were one of the first connectors capable of transmitting microwave frequencies. N type connectors are manufactured in both 50 and 75 ohm versions. This connector is 50 ohm.
