N Plug-Male Right Angle Hex Crimp Connector for AIR802 CA400, Times Microwave LMR400, Belden 9913, RG8 and Similiar Sized Cables
AIR802® model CN4NMRA-TMH is a N type plug-male hex right angle crimp style connector for AIR802 CA400, Times Microwave LMR400, RG8, Belden 9913 and 7810 size cables. This connector is tri-metal (copper/tin/zinc) plated, or sometimes referred to as white bronze for corrosion resistance and low intermodulation distortion.
AIR802® model CN4NMRA-TMH is a N plug-male right angle hex coaxial crimp connector sized to fit RG8, AIR802® CA400, Times Microwave LMR400® and other 400-Series cable. This connector is tri-metal (copper/tin/zinc) plated, or sometimes referred to as white bronze for corrosion resistance and low intermodulation distortion.
In choosing connectors, it is important to match one to the type of cable being used, the impedance (50 versus 75 ohms), the frequency support, insertion loss, voltage rating, cable size or type and environmental specifications. If you are an amateur considering buying connectors to install, we recommend that you purchase our pre-manufactured antenna cable assemblies which have been professionally assembled and tested. Installation of connectors without experience and proper equipment will lead to improperly terminated connectors.
N type connectors were developed in the 1940's by Paul Neill of Bell Labs and were one of the first connectors capable of transmitting microwave frequencies. N type connectors are manufactured in both 50 and 75 ohm versions. This impedance of this connector is 50 ohm.
