CA240FLEX By The Foot - Identical to LMR240UF
CA240FLEX-FOOT is priced per foot. It is also available in a 1000 feet reel. It has stranded center conductors and a black rubber-like TPE jacket designed for multiple bending. It can be use for either indoor or outdoor applications. It is a desirable alternative to RG8X, with lower attenuation through better shielding and has stranded center conductors and the same size jacket outer diameter. It is identical in construction and performance to Times Microwave LMR240UF Ultraflex.
Product Description – Model CA240FLEX-FOOT
CA240FLEX-FOOT is priced per foot.
It can also be purchased by bulk reels of 1000 feet.
It is manufactured with a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket. TPE has rubber-like properties and is sometimes referred to as thermoplastic rubber. TPE offers excellent environmental and chemical characteristics. TPE material provides good abrasion resistance, heat resistance, resistance to UV sunlight, oxidation and atmospheric ozone. It does not have high resistance to hydrocarbons and would not be the most suitable for refining or gas processing plants. It is resistant to wear, cutting and impact. TPE retains its physical and electrical properties even in severe environmental conditions such as salt water making it very suitable for marine use.
The center conductor is constructed with a stranded (solid copper) center conductor and coupled with the rubber-like TPE jacket provides for superior bending and flexibility. CA195FLEX has excellent weatherability engineered for up to 20 years of life.
Pre-made antenna cable assemblies are also available from this cable in various lengths and connector options.
