AIR802® model CN2RSPRA is a RP-SMA plug (male) right angle coaxial crimp connector sized to fit RG58, AIR802® CA195, Times Microwave LMR195® and other similar size cable.

Poorly constructed connectors will cause higher VSWR and insertion loss resulting in electrical noise and intermittent issues. Installation of connectors without experience and proper equipment will lead to improperly terminated connectors.

This connector is a RP-SMA plug (male) for 195-Series cable. Connectors can be a very confusing regarding the gender. Both SMA and RP-SMA (reverse) exist. RP-SMA is common with many wireless products. The RP-SMA plug Right Angle is a male connector. The threads are on the inside and a receptacle (not center pin) is on the inside the connector. This causes confusion for many not familiar with various connector types leading them to believe that this is the female, however it is the male.
