CN3RSPRA is a reverse polarity SMA (RP-SMA) type plug or male right angle connector for RG8X, AIR802® CA240, Times Microwave LMR240®, Belden 7808 and similar size 50 ohm impedance cables.
Model CN3RSPRA is a reverse polarity SMA (RP-SMA) plug or male right angle connector sized to fit AIR802® CA240, Times Microwave LMR240®, RG8X, Belden 7808 and equivalent size 50 ohm cables. This connector consists of three parts, the body, ferrule and pin.
RP-SMA are sub-miniature type connectors with screw style coupling. There are both SMA and RP-SMA type connectors. It is quite common for these to be confused. The SMA male has a pin protruding. However the RP-SMA male has a center receptacle thus causing those unfamiliar to be confused. We often use the terms plug for male and jack for female since plug and jack tend to lead to less confusion. RP-SMA connectors are utilized in a broad range of applications, particularly in Wi-Fi products.
