AIR802® manufactures high precision and performance connectors, including this SMA plug or male connector for AIR802 CA100, Times Microwave LMR100, and RG316/174/188 cable.
Connector selection is extremely important to insure proper operation and reliability. Poorly constructed connectors will cause higher VSWR and insertion loss resulting in electrical noise and intermittent issues. AIR802® manufactures very large quantities of connectors for our global customers allowing us to provide an attractive quality to price ratio.

In choosing connectors, it is important to match one to the type of cable being used, the impedance (50 versus 75 ohms), the frequency support, insertion loss, voltage rating and environmental specifications. If you are an amateur considering buying connectors to install, we recommend that you purchase our pre-manufactured antenna cable assemblies which have been professionally assembled and tested. Installation of connectors without experience and proper equipment will lead to improperly terminated connectors.

This connector is a SMA plug for AIR802 CA100, Times Microwave LMR100, and RG316/174/188 cable. Connectors can be a bit confusing regarding the gender. There are also Reverse Polarity (RP) SMA connectors. RP-SMA is common with many wireless products. SMA plug or male connectors have a pin protuding from the center of the connector. The RP-SMA plug or male connector does not have pin in the center protruding but rather has a receptacle. This causes confusion for many not familiar with various connector types. Male and female are regularly mixed up since they are not always intuitive. We generally prefer the terms plug and jack to male versus female for clarity.
