Reverse Polarity SMA (RP-SMA) Jack Female Bulkhead Crimp Connector with O-ring for Cable Types: AIR802 CA195, RG58/141/142, Times Microwave's LMR195, Belden 8240/8219
AIR802® manufactures high precision and performance connectors. Connector selection is extremely important to insure proper operation and reliability. Poorly constructed connectors will cause higher VSWR and insertion loss resulting in electrical noise and intermittent issues. AIR802® manufactures very large quantities of connectors for our global customers allowing us to provide an attractive quality to price ratio.
This connector is a RP-SMA jack (female) for 195-Series cable. Connectors can be a very confusing regarding the gender. There are reverse polarity, RP-SMA and regular SMA connectors. RP-SMA is common with many wireless products. The RP-SMA jack is a female connector. The threads are on the outside and a center pin protrudes from inside the connector. This causes confusion for many not familiar with various connector types leading them to believe that this is the male, however it is the female. This is why we prefer the term plug and jack in order to avoid confusion. For further clarification see our connector identification chart in the Knowledge Center area of our web site.
